Steve Flagg

Steve trusted Christ when he was 30 and has been serving the Lord ever since. Steve is ordained for the Gospel ministry and has served in churches in Maryland, Iowa, Nebraska, and Michigan as a Children’s Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, and Worship Leader. He has also been involved with the Awana Ministry for over 20 years and has a passion for seeing people grow spiritually. He began attending Rives Church in 2022.

Steve spent 11 years in the U.S. Navy and celebrated 25 years with Northrop Grumman as a defense contractor, retiring in 2017. Currently, Steve works for Consumers Energy as a Manager in Gas Construction, Technology, and Field Mobility.

Steve has earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan. He is currently enrolled at Newburgh Theological Seminary

studying for a Doctor of Philosophy in Pastoral Ministry.

Steve is married to Debbie and has 3 adult children and 1 grandson. He enjoys playing golf, playing guitar, and riding his motorcycle.
